Hendon Honey is a small, hobbyist, honey producer run by the Carmels, in Hendon, North West London.
Yoni and Abigail have been keeping bees in Hendon since 2019. Their local honey bees live in hives of up to 50,000 bees, each headed by a single queen bee. Over the spring and summer months, the bees collect nectar and pollen from flowers in neighbouring gardens, parks and road verges building up supplies. At the end of the summer, the excess honey is collected and gently filtered without any further processing to produce Hendon Honey.
People have commented on the wonderful floral taste of the honey, a result of the varied mix of native and exotic flowers available in the suburban parks and gardens nearby.
